The Ferrer / Echols Tacky Newsletter 2007 And Black-Eyed Pea Party Invitation Sci-Fi in our lives First Item: The Black-Eyed Pea Party Friends, fun, Black-eyed Peas!! This is your invitation to our annual Black-eyed Pea Party on Tuesday, January 1, 2008. We serve two seatings again this year at 1:00pm and 3:00pm. If you can’t join us, please write or call. Besides our tradition of sharing way too much information, we want to hear from you. Brag to us. We want to hear of all the joys and events that made your year. Our email and phone numbers are at the end of this newsletter. General Health wise, it’s a year of change for the better, some of it is really TMI (too much information). For sensitive souls, please do not click here to read more about our health changes. Just know that we improved our health this year. These are events important to us, but may be Too Much Information for both. If your stalwart enough, click here. House and Home We’re now five years in our home on Tanglewood. As of this writing, I plan to finally put up curtains in the dining and living room. Be sure to notice them if you attend the Black-eyed Pea Party. |

As you know, last year we lost White Fang; we still miss her. For a few months Scruffy enjoyed ‘single’ cathood, but he did appear lonely. So in February we went to the online Kitty Dating site and found Jillato, our new cow cat.

Finances & Work
This year, Verizon moved me to a Program Manager position, a step up for me. I still enjoy working with Verizon, I plan to commit to another year, if we can include the 5 weeks I plan to take off in July/August for the solar eclipse in China this year. I love the technology, the people and the scope of the work. Rick & Rorie Ferrer – 50 years This year we celebrated the 50th Wedding Anniversary of my parents Rick and Rorie Ferrer. They married 50 years ago on July 18, 1957, raised five awesome children, now adults. The occasion brought us together with the grandkids and many relatives I haven’t seen in ages.

Yes, she matches Scruffy. We found her at the Irving pound, rescued her and brought her home. Jillato is a hoot, rarely still, running all over the house, chasing Scruffy, chasing me. When my nephews visited in June, she loved to play hand over the chair for hours. That’s her and my nephew, Conner playing. Since Jillato’s entrance into our lives, Scruffy has lost weight from all the chasing and yes, fighting they do. I love our cats, they add so much to our lives. |
